Last night I finished my 3 starburst mirrors. Here is the turnout:

How to make a starbust mirror

You will need:

It's best to make a templet for your sticks, so that the first amount used are placed equally on the back of the mirror:

Before gluing the sticks onto the mirror place them onto the back of the mirror making a design that you know for sure that you would like to use.

Once you've decided how you want to lay the sticks start gluing. There really is no wrong or right way to do this part, as long you are in love with the final out come.

The first one is my favorite! I want to redo the last one.

Once all the sticks are glued on to your liking it's important to hot glue as much of the open areas on the back of the mirror. Doing this will insure that the sticks will not fall off.

In order to hang the mirrors it's best to take a piece of cardboard, cut it a little smaller than the mirror (so it won't show) and use wire or picture hangers.
